During various assignments the similarities of different ‘automation’ projects of Excel-processes became clear.
And in my opinion, every ‘automated’ process needs to be maintainable by the client, so it would continue to work even when changes in requirements would be needed.
As native Excel is commonly present in almost every organisation, but VBA is not, you cannot expect from a client to ‘dive into the VBA-code’ to solve any issues.
This has let to the development of Argestus, where the most common tasks are automated, but using native Excel to define the specifics.
